Welcome to
Little LVADventures!
Half bionic, all heart, and done with being quiet about it 💙
After spending more days in hospital gowns than I care to count, I left with scars, a battery-powered heart pump (LVAD), and a promise to myself: this isn’t the end of my story.
Little LVADventures is that promise in action. It’s proof that life with heart failure isn’t just about surviving. It’s about finding joy in the middle of the chaos, laughing at the alarms, and turning every “not today” moment into a reason to keep going.
This space is for the real stuff:
-
Family chaos that somehow still ends in laughter
-
Quiet moments that feel like medicine
-
Adventures that test the wires (literally)
-
Stories that remind us we’re still here and still living
This isn’t just a blog. It’s a seat at the table for heart warriors, caregivers, and anyone who’s ever been told their life had limits but decided to live anyway.
.
So pull up a chair, grab your charger (the LVAD kind and maybe the coffee kind), don’t trip over the wires, we’re just getting started.

Celebrate Life
Life with an LVAD isn’t just about surviving, it’s about living out loud.
Here, we turn the everyday into an adventure, swapping fear for laughter and wires for wings. Our community is where joy and honesty meet, a place to share the wins, the “oops” moments, and even the stories that make the doctors grin.
Celebrate life with us as we laugh, learn, and love through the battery-powered journey, together.
Recent Highlights

This isn’t just a blog — it’s a movement. 💙 Little LVADventures exists to prove that life with an LVAD (or any chronic illness) can still be bold, beautiful, and full of joy. Your donations don’t just keep the lights on — they help fuel content that educates, motivates, and reminds heart warriors everywhere that we’re more than our diagnoses. When you give, you’re not just supporting me — you’re joining a community that chooses hope, laughter, and life on purpose. Let’s show the world that even with wires, we can still rise.
